By creating an account or using our service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

AI Job Copilot provides:

• AI-powered resume analysis and ATS scoring
• Resume-to-job description matching
• AI-assisted resume rewriting suggestions
• Job search and alert functionality

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• One account per person; account sharing is not allowed.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious files or harmful content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our AI models or data
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
• Resell or redistribute our service without permission
• Upload content you do not have the right to share

5. Subscription and Billing

• Free plan features may change at any time.
• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on the option selected.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before renewal.
• Payments are processed by Stripe and governed by their terms.
• We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by law.
• We may change pricing with advance notice to existing subscribers.

6. Free Plan Limitations

Free accounts may be subject to limits such as:

• 3 resume-to-JD matches per month
• 1 resume upload
• 1 job alert
• Basic report features only

These limits may be adjusted over time.

7. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of the content you upload.
• By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it in order to provide the service.
• AI-generated suggestions and reports are for your personal use only.
• Our platform, code, design, and branding remain our intellectual property.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided as is without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee job interviews, offers, or any specific outcome. You remain responsible for the final content of your resume.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

• You may cancel your account at any time from Settings.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.
• You may request deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, subject to applicable consumer protections.
